Leona Lewis To Sing James Bond Theme?

Leona Lewis is to sing the new James Bond title track according to reports.

The Sun claims that producers think Lewis is the perfect choice to sing the lead track for Quantum Of Solace.

A source says: "It looks like Leona has finally won the race. She is seen as one of the few candidates who has the right profile both sides of the pond to do it."

Although originally tipped to be given to Amy Winehouse, it now looks like the troubled pop star is out of the picture.

"Amy was their original choice but she just can't get her act together and hasn't got the right image," added the source. "The Bond guys now look set on Leona. She is reliable and has a great voice for it. Hopefully something could be announced soon."

A Dominican Republic-born sonero transplanted to New York City, salsa lead Raulin Rosendo was innate in Santo Domingo on August 30, 1957. Steeped in the rhythms of Afro-Antilles music throughout his childhood, he began his playacting career at the age of 12 as a member of the merengue grouping El Chivo y Su Banda, by and by coming into court with acts including Fernandito Villalona, Conjunto Clásico and Los Vecinos. Known as "The Angry Sonero," Rosendo made his solo debut with 1991's Salsa, Solamente Salsa; by 1993 he was recording in New York with producer Ricky Gonzalez, scoring the hits "Amor en Secreto" and "Santo Domingo." The subsequent succeeder of albums including ¡Lo Maximo!, 1996's Dominicano Para El Mundo, 1997's ¡Contrólate! and 1998's Llego la Ley conventional him among the biggest salsa performers of the period. Donde Me Coja la Noche followed in 1999.

Tim Vincent leaves Dancing on Ice

Former 'Blue Peter' presenter Tim Vincent has been voted off the skating show 'Dancing on Ice'.
Vincent was placed in the bottom two alongside Olympic javelin medallist Steve Backley as a result of the public vote last night.
Following the skate-off the judging panel opted to save Backley.
Speaking after his eviction from the show, Vincent said: "It's been fantastic. Every week has been fantastic, but I've found my level this week, everyone has been brilliant."

A few minutes with Sean Combs

Is Diddy changing his name again?

The debate raged on Sean Combs' MySpace page last week. Was he changing his name or not? And what would we call him? Diddy, P. Diddy, Puffy, Puff Daddy? Good names all, but Combs sets the record straight in Part I of THR.com Editor Melissa Grego's exclusive three-part video interview.

Besides his ever-changing aliases, the "A Raisin in the Sun" star, entertainer and entrepreneur waxes poetic over his moniker, how he wound up with the "Raisin" role and his Emmy chances.

Pick up a copy of Thursday's Hollywood Reporter for an excerpt from the interview in print and stay tuned online for a full-length transcript as well as Parts II and III of the video. Will his next role be action hero or music great? And has he started recording music again?
